Sometimes I imagine that life is one big subjective mental projection. The idea that everything I see I created in my head subconsciously. That everything, living and nonliving, all of the great wonders of the world, everything beautiful, everything despicable, are all apart of my own projected, vast, complex imagination. Perhaps one day someone will jump out and say to me. “Look at all of these wonderful things you have created!” Maybe the idea of a God hits so close to home for much of humankind because we’re, in essence, our own Gods that don’t want to take responsibility for the happenings that surround us.
